Jim Bartsch is an architectural and corporate photographer based in Santa Barbara, California. A graduate of Brooks Institute of Photography (1988), Jim has taken photos of some of the country’s most exclusive homes. His clientele has included corporations, advertising agencies, hotels, interior designers, architects and magazines – and his work has appeared in Audio/Video Interiors, Stereophile Guide to Home Theatres, Town & Country, Architectural Digest, Elle Decor and numerous other publications. Jim has traveled to more than 30 countries, and his photo assignments have included South and Central America and Switzerland. In the Fall of 1996, Jim was chosen to be the Photography Instructor for Semester at Sea (an around-the-world shipboard educational experience sponsored by the University of Pittsburgh) and in January of 1998, Jim traveled to Inner Mongolia, China, to photograph some of the last remaining steam trains.
